A SOLITARY MAN

All that I am is what life has made me.

No reason for me to accept others concept of me

I am who I am no more no less than the sum of life.

I accept no mans unkind thoughts of me, their problem.

Today, tomorrow, or yesterday I will remain true to myself.

All of this is all that I am, why worry or care what or

how others see you. If people want to, they will find faults.

I’m aware of my faults, but I accept them, good and bad

as they define who I am. Then this begs the question, who am I.

A solitary man who likes company, but not all the time, need my

own space around me. My books, music can and will carry me through

all that life throws at me. I can write a poem, explain how I feel.

Doe’s it matter to me if no one understands, answer is no.

I am all that I am. If you ask do I care about others, I do.

If you ask for my help I will try even if is beyond me, but I

will strive to achieve the task you ask help off. In life I must

care for others, I try. At times in my mind I may fail, thou it

is in the trying that defines all that I am, A quiet solitary man.
