'' They Are Worth Their Weight In Gold ''
On the journey of life be aware,
Good companions are very rare,
In times of trouble they'll be there,
When down you'll be consoled.
Never ever push them aside,
If you need them they'll not hide,
Any problems,you can confide,
On you they won't go cold.
If you're ever feeling down,
They will help to lift your frown,
Their love for you, you will renown,
That gift cannot be sold.
Treat them as you would your own,
Throughout history it has been shown,
None of us can stand alone,
They're a treasure to behold.
Life is short so treat them wise,
Be there when you hear their cries,
It's a fact of life everyone dies,
The time can't be foretold.
Fell out? Make up right away,
You could be taken any day,
Grudges only cause affray.
Never let your friendship fold.
Revenge is just a futile act,
No one wins that's a fact,
Bite your lip and show some tact,
Forgiveness should be extolled.
True friends are rare keep them well,
Your enemies they will help expel,
In watching over you they'll excel,
