The Lord has filled me with delight,
Since you showed interest in me;
And you are doing what is right,
As far as what all I can see.
You were concerned but had no chance,
And no possible time to show;
Of your desire to advance,
To the place where the blessings flow.
I never said I was in need,
I am content how things are now;
Since I have an abundant seed,
And to present I do know how.
It is a gift God has given,
To be able to spread the Word;
And that gift came down from Heaven,
Floating through the air like a bird.
I learned the secret how to live,
During success or in failure;
With an approach as effective,
That was used by our Savior.
I do everything through Christ,
Who strengthens me through my hassles;
And willing to be sacrificed,
To ease burdens of the troubles.
Your gifts do have such a sweet smell,
That God accepts as a delight;
So no matter where you might dwell,
All you need will be in your sight.
