Before my eyes that fail this day
Fail a heart that feels dismayed
I search beyond mindset now mine
Upon the path of useless time
Useless wares on this road trekked
Wares to wear a soul perplexed
As I have strayed beyond what keeps
Alive all things as faith mine leaps
Leaps beyond all I can see
Bounds to take, more tears to weep
All to take if I just hold
To what is mine yet to enfold
I call for strength on bended knee
Drop dearly where I am free
Free again, to rest again
Rest in Him, Heavens Godsend
Tired I have again, once more
As time suspends beyond life's door
A place of peace, my inner core
Thirsts again more than before
Ground myself from flight to take
To share a cup with Him partake
A breath of sorts, revive the dead
Alive again, again spoon fed
Keep close I hear as whispered to
Ears gone deaf that yearn break through
In void suspend no place to be
This son of man, with Christ in me
