Will You Grasp In The Air My Words Of Love There?®
The old house is still around me
tho the walls are wearing thin,
from me crying to them constantly
cause there's nobody else within!
And there's the tree He used to walk by
when happily coming in the door,
it droops like me and wants to die
since He doesn't make us feel welcome anymore!
Down these halls i heard him singing
and he'd run to the kitchen,
Ooo what smells so good was ringing
there was such pride in Him!
He'd brag at work
about what i cooked up that day,
the echoes how they always lurk
in my mind along the way!
Now nobody brags at all
i feel just plain useless,
my way i just crawl
thru without His Praise And Kiss!
But i know he's still proud
it'd just be music to hear,
for crying out loud
mercy come take me oh please appear!
I'm wasting space,electricity and time
being here i don't belong,
the world for the wanting is no longer mine
i wanna sing my swan song!
I don't have the strength to fight
to hold on like people seem to think,
i'm drowning in tears the highest height
and letting go of the life raft i'm on the brink!
As long as He was around
i felt needed and that i matter,
His Arms would surround
My World now all it does is shatter!
Once was the pitter patter from His Loving Feet
now it's just the bitter cries of
loneliness here that'll never retreat
and i can't live on memories to have whom i love!
