Of all the families on earth,
God has known no one else but you;
For He knows about your true worth,
As you continue each day through.
That is why He prepares to discipline,
Showing you that He really cares;
By punishing you for your sin,
And to show you the love He shares.
You never walk with another,
Before by chance able to meet;
Without first getting together,
As man never first takes a seat.
A lion will then never roar,
In the forest without its prey;
The shepherd will not close the door,
On a sheep that has gone astray.
A young lion growls in its den,
While feasting upon his meal;
Cackles never come from a hen,
Unless the fox does come to steal.
A bird never lands on a trap,
That never does have any bate;
You feel rested after a nap,
Like the stomach after you ate.
Certainly the Almighty Lord,
Would not be doing anything;
If each one were of one accord,
Revealing secrets what may bring.
