 POETICAL ME

Before GOD

There was a time that fell away
A time of loss as is today
A state of mind ignored as is mans way
Sad state to say how this will play

Plays out each day in lives that live
If for themselves that never give
A second thought to one who bled
For every soul that lives misled

A sacrifice upon a tree
A heartfelt act to set man free
Yet still this day we pass on Him
A pill bitter, of bitter sin

Before GOD we act our parts
Running race from life lines start
Out of breath we come to see
That without Him we fail miserably

Prayers mine will add to score
Another write, with words implore
That one will come to know and bend
Their knees this day as time nears end

Before GOD
