The frost of sin once lived inside
Before you came in me abide
As fire yours would melt the ice
Before my time your sacrifice
Change came with peace of yours in hand
To forge a soul inside this man
To share of you with each keystroke
To learn of you, taking your yoke
The need to burn till ashes lay
Of all that's left still yet that stays
That crosses heart with mercy yours
The cleansing of what yet is pure
Blaze the trail I've yet to walk
Scorch the path in me that balks
For it is there where life begins
Life still lived washed of sin
You are GOD and I am not
As others think and too forgot
The sacrifice that made amends
Above all else through you dear friend
Father mine, of many sons
Of daughters yours of work yet done
Set afire what time blew out
Fire yours so I can mount
Again with wings like eagles fly
And be not weary when I try
