Store bought meatloaf and potato soup galore
no heart to make homemade from scratch anymore,
what a waste of good food just for me
but it's stored in my memory!
He'd come runnin to the kitchen
so cute Ooo what smells so good you're fixin,
then afterwards oh was that good with a kiss
to please him i could never miss!
Well he deserved it and so much
more he deserved a special touch,
for what He gave me was a heart of gold
for which He without a doubt broke the mold!

if only it could shine as bright,
mine's been graced with a diamond and not in the rough
cause He was/is made of the obviously purest stuff!
