It is you God
That woke me up
With the sunny day
And the sound of the birds
It is you God
That gave me life each day
And I live each day for you
It is you God
That give me courage to move on with my life each day
By trying out new things
It is you God that is my father
And I will always serve you that I live my life here on earth
It is you God that is my instrument
It is you God that will make me strong each day
It is you God that gives me hope
And I have some hope that I will succeed in what I am doing each day
It is you God that will bring the night after a long day
It is you God that will guide me each day here on earth
And if I fall
You will lift me up and carry me in your wings
It is you God that feeds me when I am hungry
It is you God that gave me clothes so that I could wear it everyday on my body
And not let my bare skin show
It is you God that watches me at night when I sleep every night
In the living room of my condo
In my sofa bed
It is you God that knows my weakness and strength
It is you God that created me in your image
It is you That is holy God
It is you God that loves me unconditionally
It is you God that invites me to your table to receive the holy communion
It is you God
That removes my bad thoughts out of my head each day
