Give thought but short as time is yours
Sit down or pace be still, be sure
That if your days today would end
Your soul would know where it would spend
Some think of Heaven as a place
A place made up to chase in haste
The worldly you to draw now near
Some believe made up to fear
Be not mistaken for bound we are
To the next plain both near and far
A place where peace one comes to know
Or lake of fire, grim place below
Question not the good in you
But ask, receive of Him who drew
This thought today for you to read
For you so loved, He intercedes
No not religion but of Him
The son of GOD who took mans sin
Upon a cross nailed to reflect
What He would take for you priceless
Days of late are fleeting fast
A change, your need now at impasse
Next stop, your soul the inner you
Must now decide what will it do
Live to die or die to live
In Him who gave all He could give
To you stranger much filled with crime
Loved no less before your time
Find a place to meditate
Give this thought before too late
Becomes of you who knows not Him
Next stop to LOVE unlike you've ever been
