Good Bye My irish Sky

Good Bye to My Irish sky                 February 24, 2013

Sitting in my humble home with mother Ireland by my side
I'm Irish poor just like always; I have no secrets to hide
My family has travelled the world, no crime they have to hide
They left because there was no work, and they had Irish pride
The boat was full leaving Irelands shore, goodbye and many more
I'll see you guys or so they say, Excitement they went on their way
How do you stop the Irish young, the troubles, they remember every day
They remember their friends of the past; they look to new friends far away
Country gone but not forgotten, we're Irish until the final day
The country of trouble and things we deserve a better life
I know for sure the Irish cure is going away for sure
I love Ireland and what goes there, this dude is gone for sure
I say goodbye to my Irish sky, I say good-bye to no one
God has sent me on my way, Irish and obliged to Ireland only
Sitting in my humble home with mother Ireland by my side
I'm Irish poor just like always; I have no secrets to hide
