'' He Welcomes People Like You ''
Life is a long and winding road,
Containing many twists and turns,
Happiness and heartbreak will be bestowed,
Some will love you while another spurns.
You will learn all about joy and grief,
There'll be laughter and yes you will cry,
Gaining wisdom is crucial it can bring some relief,
A miracle will be born whilst another will die.
It's all contained in the circle of life,
How you're influenced is all down to you,
Agreeing with something you know gives you strife,
Will determine where next you may go.
There'll be crossroads where you'll have to decide,
The direction that you next will follow,
From your past you can run but you cannot hide,
False apologies always turn out hollow.
Mistakes will be made all along the way,
But as long as you admit you were wrong,
You will live to fight on for another day,
Feeling good about yourself makes you strong.
Revenge and hatred are terrible traits,
It's not only you they'll destroy,
Before you know it disaster awaits,
Knowledge gained you now need to deploy.
Never be afraid to show feelings of love,
It's a gift that's a joy to behold,
It's takes you up to the heavens above,
That's when its secrets begin to unfold.
If you can look back without feeling remorse,
Genuinely knowing you've always been true,
Then entry to Heaven your God will endorse,
