 My Responses

Relay

Walking the path of the messenger
I learned a long time ago
Is not always an easy path
nor an easy road to tow

At times fraught with challenges
the hearts closed like a drum
Cold and disconcerting
no longer focusing on the love

Too caught up in their own self
with a nose pressed to the glass
When life gives constant beatings
they no longer can see past

The current situation
caught on an endless wheel
The lessens bound to repeat
til we learn and come to heal

At times it is a pleasure
Saying just what they need to hear
Touching deep their souls
help to make the path way clear

Then the Faith again is renewed
and I continue on my way
Doing my best to be and do
all the things that I say
