I - AM - IMMERSED - IN - HIM

Today - is truly beautiful - full of hope - expectancy -
As I sit - in quiet peace - serenity  - I feel the presence of my Lord 
Encasing me - within His arms 
Of perfect peace .

How can I describe this place of such tranquility -? - when 
Heaven and earth reach out to touch - in loving symmetry - as 
Peaceful - flowing - raptures of eternity - like rays of sunshine 
Breaking through - enfolding me  - in 
Warming sheets of bliss.

No worldly joy could fill me with such wondrous peace - that 
Lifts me now beyond all earthly boundaries - and keeps my
Heart and soul with such perfected - rhythmic beats -  and 
Tells me - unashamedly - 
That all is well.

I know that there are those - who question how this strange 
Phenomenon - could ever be - that does so often sound like - such 
An extra-ordinary fantasy - but I can only say - that in my spirit -
I am truly free - to rise above the carnal -  and the ordinary -
To Holy Realms above .

For me - there is no safer place to be - none that has power -
To lure nor entice me - away from such sweet ecstasy - to have 
Me drown in triviality  - no other heart can capture me - nor 
Steal my soul away .

I Am - Immersed  -  In HIM .

There really is no safer place to be than in the safety of the arms 
of the Lord our God .
