The need to hear her voice becomes
Fresh breath of air the one someone
That mends a day of nonsense filled
Stress factors that tests my will
My heart she won from her first day
A place where angel has her way
The need to feed off energy
Of her granddaughter just one of three
At four she serves many a dish
My place of peace with her pet fish
As cook and chef her fare becomes
A plate savored the best bar none
Her plates plastic and silverware
Utensils held as play Doe bares
Colors of Blue and yellow too
Where pink meets green making for food
Here my appetite is met
Filled of conversation till nothings left
Then comes my time to tell her so
Before my leave, dreads have to go
I love you more than Peanut Butter
My heart of hearts above all others
Her need to say I hear when sigh
Becomes answer and her reply
I love you more than ice cream topped
With rainbow sprinkles which says a lot
To my granddaughter Xania, my breath of life
Vote for this poem
I love you more....
