Oh how the glittering pearls of raindrops fall
Some slowly finding their way the window pane
Others dripping from trees upon the roof of iron
Playing their sleepy melody again and yet again
The flowers bushes trees all welcome it ever so
As chickens folded into feathery bundles up so high
All dreaming so of way better days to one day be
Within the branches of the trees against the sky
Oldest dog all curled within a largest once seed bag
Snorting in dreams of what has been and yet to come
Largest ever thickest quilt welcomes me ever so
In warmest and half lit room to sleep a little some
Natures music almost silently plays it's serenade
As mildest breezes tranquilly move among all that grows
Now time to drift away to maybe yet another day
To places that well could be only God he knows.
