Happy Birthday to a southern belle…
Who defines her deep south breeding well.
Although born upon a Jersey shore,
Roots were established long before.

Endowed with easy southern charm…
A calming breeze and yet a storm.
A storm of dance across a stage…
The drum beat rolls …the floor boards rage.

So daintily yet dominating…
Lost in the steps she loves creating.
Her body tuned to every beat…
Bent to accommodate her feet.

What grace! What poise! What talent lies
Within each gift our God supplies.
Whatever else she’ll miss by chance
Michelle has never missed the dance.

And now she’s reached that magic age
When all the world becomes a stage.
Dance through it, child, God bless your way…
