Ever since I was a boy I learned
I listened and documented all within my mind
All of which was true and facts of life
Since then almost all re written you will find
Along came each generation changing many things
Re interpreting what it was that was written
Accepting many things once shunned in daily life
And the original views of long ago were bitten
Things that really happened in life remembered
Now often told they did not ever occur in time
The re writers feeling lots written were wrong
Re designing actual history so far down the line
Many a soul now older and still alive and well
Who can ever so clearly still in life remember all
Remember things and events that happened in life
But modern thinking changed the writing on the wall
All of religion and politics and many other things
In the new age thinking only they know the way to go
But change it all they may well do this day and age
The original cooky will like it or not still fall
Pretend, imagine, strive to be like the greats
They simply do not in any way come to realize
That what has happened several times upon earth
Will all happen once again only now to their surprise
Instead of learning more now so many teaching
And what they teach often is far from the real story
The shame is so many now believe what they all say
Almost gone now once real truth of life, love and glory.
