A GIGANTIC BALL OF FIRE,
A BRILLIANT BRONZE,
AN ARRAY OF REDS,
A SPECTRUM OF ORANGES,
AND VARIOUS TINTS OF YELLOW,
THE GLISTENING AMBER LIT SUN SEEMS TO SUBMERGE
BENEATH THE CLEAR BLUE-GREEN WATERS OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA.
RADIANT MIRROR LIKE REFLECTIONS
QUIETLY AND EVER SO PEACEFULLY SPRUE
FADING SPECKS OF LIGHT
AS IT SUBMISSIVELY EMBRACES
THE SERENITY OF THE MOON LIT NIGHT.
THE GREEN POSH THICKNESS OF THE CENTRAL HIGHLANDS
SO ENCHANTING TO THE EYE,
LIKE A GREEN CARPET IT BLANKETS THE EARTH,
PERHAPS AS IT DID IN THE GARDEN OF BLISS.
OH, WHAT A WONDROUS SIGHT TO SEE!
STANDING UPON THE MOUNTAINS' TOP,
I TAKE A PANORAMIC VIEW,
I AM HUMBLED AND IN AWE OF YOU,
THE CREATOR OF THE MOST MAGNIFICENT DESIGN.
FROM THE SUN’S RISING FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA,
TO THE TREE LINE THAT I SEE,
I CANNOT HELP BUT BE OVERWHELMED
BY THE SPLENDID ARTISTRY
OF THE MASTERS UNSEEN HAND AT THE HELM.
The rice paddie field must be seen to appreciate its' landscaping design.
It brings to mind the artistry that could only be developed by Allah,
The artist Who transcends the human mind.
A beautiful country even With the war in full bloom.
A war destined to bring more Bloodshed, death and gloom.
As beautiful as a postcard,
Yet so different from home.
From the neon electric Lit night, starless sky, treeless city streets
Made of concrete asphalt and brick.
