Thou art my protector, listen to my prayer!
I heard that even Lord of the Universe stands
Before you seeking alms to maintain the world!
I offer thee my heart as a flower in thy worship,
My body is made up of five elements of nature;
The water element of my body shall go to
Thy paradise only to wash your lotus feet
The fire element of my body shall go to
Thy abode to shine as a lamp near thy throne
The air element of my body shal become a fan
To wave cool breezes to thy gracious person
And to thy abode the ether element of my body
Shall carry the songs of praise on thy glory!
