A tired soul awoke this morn
A different man feeling much scorned
A storm of sorts has crashed with waves
Upon his shores less prayers prayed
Aware this walk will have its day
Charging charges of yesterdays
Are brought before the magistrate
That oversees the fallen late
This judge who lives to pound his bench
With grief's gavel that seeks to quench
Its thirst for one GOD calls his son
This man, this day today undone
You see there are such day's torments
That come and go, some thought that went
Away as yesterdays one breathed
But not so, has taken leave
So in absence of my defense
I plead my case filled with nonsense
My case adjourned now for the moment
My time to meditate and own it
On knees I make my way to home
As Truth well knows I'm not alone
With voice He whispers I am here
Be still I calm such waves of fear
I hide my eyes in fear knowing
This state of mind is his for sowing
Another seed to muster strength
All His reaching from Heavens gate
And so today though waves will crash
Upon a heart mine thought was last
I raise my arms up to the one
Who said it's finished, my will be done
