WRITTEN   18 : 3 : 2013

By S .C. Mitchell.

No more regrets my soul - No more
Longings of a time - now gone - that cannot
Be regained - nor trodden through in footprints
That have faded into time memorial - all covered now -
like grains of sand - buried under billions of their kind -
To be retraced no more - along the line of
Ebb and flowing sea - and shore .

No tears of longing for a fading past - that
Has no way of entering in tomorrow's door -
That door - once opened wide - is closed - with
Keys now rusted - that speak of what has been -
Of memories - however sweet - they
Could not stay - or last .

Like trinkets - when the lustre fades - so
Too the memories begin to dim - and only glimpses
One might see through shadowed veils - remain .
So - to my soul I speak - in words now tempered with
An understanding of its buried pain - no more regrets -
No tears - no sorrows now - just forward -
To - Tomorrow's Gain .

Most of us have memories of regret or sorrow , but I
would encourage you here to let go of the past , and

embrace the new opportunities of today , and the hope

for the future.

God bless you

In His love ...Stella
