Open your ears,
What you were taught;
Drive out your fears,
What you have sought.
Hear from my tongue,
Words you have learned,
As they are flung,
Investments earned.
So I confide,
That long ago;
Of what they hide,
And not to know.
But each child,
Has to be told;
How God smiled,
In days of old.
His great power,
And the great deeds;
That grows each hour,
From the planted seeds.
Things He has done,
Things Heaven-sent;
He and His Son,
To those who repent.
Trust and obey,
Honor and laud;
No other way,
To worship God.
So make it known,
What God can do;
Upon His throne,
With helping you.
