For being your dad’s girl
I really didn’t know you
Or the things that turned your world

I’ve uncovered such a heart of gold…
A rare and lovely gem
A woman of such warmth and worth…
A replica of him.

Someone who worships Jesus…
Who shares my passion there…
Who cares about the kids who hurt…
The ones who’ve lost their hair.

Whose heart touches the homeless…
Man and animal alike.
Someone that God has gifted
With spiritual insight.

Just let me just say I love you
Simply for being you.
