Ache in my soul

There's an ache in my soul
an emptiness that clings
Lingering like the wind
That leaves a song it sings

It's roots delve so deep
against enigma's loom
Casting shadows unforeseen
Oh heal my aching wound!

I’m crying like a howling wolf
Towards that of neon moon
upon the vines of growing thorns
And song of wind is blue

Oh so lonely am I
Without your arms to hold
Like echoes dance upon,
Canyons creviced stone

Time cannot erase your love
Nor warmth of lips on mine!
Once, You were my dancing sun
My joy when unaligned

But now I live in void
Because I miss you so
I walk alone upon this earth
My steps heavy and slow

And chill inside my bones
So utterly frost filled
adheres to my aching heart
Because I need you Still!!
