Whatever happened to that girl
the one with pipe dreams
And far out schemes
planting dream seeds
Whatever did she do
when her train came through
And she was late to the station
what with all she'd been taken
Once she was loud and clear
and full of good cheer
And now words
from her are not spoken
She appears to be strong
cuz she keeps moving on
Too stupid to lay down
and die
Under rubble and debris
her Soul longs to be free
And she waits quiet still
like a child always will
Whatever happened to that girl
The One with a dream
She was ripped at the seams
...for Winter Kills
She was beaten each day
in her thoughts they would play
Tell her she's just no good
and best stay away
And her young Soul grew weary
could no longer speak....
For the words they were miss-spoken
She is still holding on
