Poetic-Verses

‘' He Must Have Some Sense Of Humour ‘'

We've not to slag off God,
Or show disrespect,
What I really find odd,
Is who says that's correct?

Him's the term in use,
Does that mean you've met,
Is saying he's female abuse?
Is that a cause for regret?

We are made in God's image,
He's a power to behold,
Yet his words cause a scrimmage,
Whenever they're told.

Using his name in vain,
Is classed as a sin,
From blasphemy refrain,
You just cannot win.

Speak out against him,
You're classed as a traitor,
Saying your future is grim,
Are the words of a dictator?

We all have the right,
We were given a voice,
Have you not seen the light?
Despots restrict choice.

Saying his words are pathetic,
Is democracy in action?
As for justice it's poetic,
So there'll be no retraction.

If your God doesn't approve,
He can strike me down now,
From my stance I won't move,
That is my vow.

In our country so great,
We have freedom of speech,
We've the right to berate,
We practise what we preach.

I genuinely don't care,
About colour or creed,
So I'll make you aware,
I will never concede.

Disrespect for a deity,
Nobody has seen,
A great high and mighty,
We must not demean.

Your faith in a being,
Is yours alone,
You are not all seeing,
So at others don't moan.

If it's true God's like us,
Then it's not just a rumour,
To create all this fuss,
