livin' in sin

image host

winter has come now
spring has begun now
homes without power
livin' in sin
no rhyme or reason
no time and no season
off down the long road
I wander on home

winter has come now
spring has begun now
roads that once went on
covered in snow
I don't know which way
she went when she left me
all that we are now
is livin' in sin

winter has come now
spring has begun now
I thought that I saw her
looking so sweet
whilst there were others
who left with their mothers
she was the one that
my mother would meet

winter has come now
spring has begun now
plants that were dying
spring into life
plants that were living
they die in the sunshine
all of god's children
are wandering home

winter has come now
spring has begun now
darling I love her
year after year
coldness creeps into
my heart and my bedroom
now more than ever
we're livin' in sin
