He came to be what was to be
Our fate, our death yet majesty
Chose to come to save not one
But all mankind daughters and sons
He spoke of truth not understood
Yet in His words He knew we could
Rise above our circumstance
Love was born to so romance
Embraced both beggar and too thieves
Lowest of life and high perceived
Not one not least or even more
As was to be as Father scored
He spoke at peace that calmed the sea
Upon the mount He would decree
No less the fowl of air cared for
Or clothed the grass of fields before
He paced upon waters to show
To those with doubt, to know, let go
That fear is but a fleeting moment
But faith was theirs, to have, to own it
He would become great sacrifice
Will of wills all Him great price
To pay a debt He did not owe
To see mankind reborn, He sowed
Some think His acts were all a tale
Not fact, more fiction on cross impaled
To bring but fear into ones heart
A state of mind left to impart
And so in haste we fail to see
There is a GOD, eyes turn blindly
To think we know better than Him
His darkest hour, our greatest sin
