I can do anything,
Everything lawful;
The pleasures they bring,
But not really helpful.
Not all things edify,
Discouraging growth;
And does not purify,
As many people loath.
People should be concerned,
Not just about themselves;
And what others have learned,
Not hiding in the shelves.
Let no one seek his own,
But know the well-being;
Of others you have known,
That you help in seeing.
You can eat anything,
In the store you can buy;
Concern not it may bring,
To stomach or the thigh.
It belongs to the Lord,
For all He does possess;
And cannot be ignored,
All He owns He does bless.
When invited someplace,
Please accept the invite;
If food is served say grace,
Before all take a bite.
If I give thanks to God,
For any food I eat;
I do honor and laud,
For consuming the meat.
