Invisible Kids
It's hard in life to be a kid today,
because you don't get your way.
Parents are to busy for us kids,
it's like we're nothing but jar lids.
On the top of such an empty life
it's all about the man and wife.
Love for us kids is often lost,
leaving kids to pay the cost.
They try to pamper us with video games and things.
they don't care about how our hearts sing.
Missing out in a connection,
they give us too much rejection.
When we've grown and moved far away,
they'll think of what they missed those days.
