THE - CUP - OF - GOD'S - BLESSINGS

Have you drunk from the Cup of God's blessings ? -
Given only by the hand of the Lord - Who 
Turned the bitter waters sweet - by the power of His Blood -
The cup once was filled with agony - caused by
Sin and strife - from the open wounds of torment - and 
Sinfulness of life - Now exchanged at the Cross of Calvary -
Where the Saviour hung and died  - weighted down 
By every evil - that in humanity resides -
How dark the heavens were that Day - when 
the Father turned His eyes - away from His 
Precious wounded Son - as He paid the awful price -
Would anyone in History - lay down their life - to 
See their enemy set free ? - but - that's what Jesus did -
For all mankind - including you and me - Now
The cup of Wrath has been removed - for
All who will receive - the Gift of Life Eternal - where
Our wounded souls are healed - Yes - 
Healed from destruction's fateful grasp - from
The punishment of sin - where Death has been
Defeated - and our hearts can be made clean - and 
Jesus Christ has conquered Death - as He rose
From the Grave's defeat -  freeing captives from 
The dungeons - His Salvation - now complete -
Yes - the Cup of Blessings can be ours -
Through that wondrous - fearful Day - when 
The God of Heaven paid the price - to wash
Our sins away - So take this cup - held out to you -
Drink long and deep its Grace - that speaks of
God's Amazing Favour - poured out for us - the 
Fallen human race - and - rejoice with all
Who enter in - who walk through the Saviour's Door -
Who drink from His Life filled streams of Love -
Who will never thirst for more .

I pray you will be such a one this Easter who will 
receive the Saviour's Cup of Eternal Blessings held 
out for you this Easter Time .
