During my move I had errands to run
One being to Walmart with my son Shawn
While picking up brackets for curtain rods
My eyes came upon 3 huge nails in a box
Suddenly my eyes filled with tears and then
I picked up the box these nails layed in
Without explaining my son already knew
Exactly why my emotions came flooding through
I reached in the box and held them in my hand
These 3 nails so heavy trying to understand
How my precious Jesus could endure such pain
I pictured in my mind the brutality beforehand
The measure of love it took for Him to sustain
Knowing then the number who would reject Him
Glory be to God He knew also the converts then
As the Holy Spirit would be wooing and beckoning
The same Holy Spirit that beckoned me at 12
Rose up in me as I seen those nails on the shelf
Precious Holy Spirit that saves me from myself
Reminding me of the Cross and God's awesome gift
His presence remained strong as I wept in intervals that day
Recalling this special moment and how His presence came
In an isle at a Walmart store who would have ever thought
My Jesus is always with me even at times when I've not sought
When I least expect it the Holy Spirit blesses me
Time and time again I'm humbled to feel and see
The work He is doing in my life to change me daily
For this I earnestly give God all the praise and glory !
I know I fall short and could never repay the debt
But glory be to God His gift of love I shall never forget
For truly it would take a lifetime and I couldn't repay it
The love my Jesus shows me is a love I'll never lose or regret
Thank-you Jesus for all you have done and continue to do
On this Resurrection anniversary nearing I send forth to you
My heart,My soul,My body ,My total being I pray thee continue to mold
Into all you want me to be as I wait on you Lord Your love I still behold
Forever Yours My Savior and Lord ;
