In writing you… By EDWIN FLORES, www.PoetryPoem.com/poetry2231 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
Words escape both mind and hand
In writing you in much demand
In telling so of where I stand
Where angels dwell but not this man
To Heaven's sky I reach out to
To catch a star fallen from view
Where curtain dark has its fair share
Of dreams wished for to sky all bare
Reaching for such distant things
A moments peace, mere offering
Is asked as if ones last request
Before dawn comes, one will confess
I stare to skies that twinkle if
They winked of peace and soft blown kiss
On cheek that warms a soul that needs
To once again on moment feed
Daylight approaches and my time ends
To share with stars and moment spend
A state of mind beyond this earth
A place peaceful of precious worth
Vote for this poem
In writing you…
