Missing much… By EDWIN FLORES, www.PoetryPoem.com/poetry2231 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
There's not a moment passing by
Throughout my days of many sighs
Of you, of us my soul does miss
Of many things upon once kissed
Your shoulder bared a trace of me
Your lips as well had their share plenty
But most of all I hold to when
Our first hello in person then
Then where two would finally meet
Feeling warmth of barefoot feet
Of kiss that made for a long trip
Seem worth it all marshmallow lips
I'd travel for a distance then
To fall in love to make amends
Of life I lived and that of yours
Today reflections that endure
I miss your eyes and too your smile
The need mine great short time compiled
The talks upon a porch of things
Of fondest wish that meant something
There was and is a need to say
If I could have just yesterday
I'd tell again I dreamed of you
Before we met and became two
If for a moment lets talk again
Of love and how we became friends
As this write spells and comes to end
Missing much, you GOD would send
Missing much…
