There’s Something About His Name

There’s something about His Name
That makes the church bells ring…
 Something so compelling
It will cause a choir to sing.

There’s something about His Name
That reaches deep into a soul…
 Makes sinners seek salvation…
Brings the broken back to whole.

There’s something about His Name
Which silences the sea…
It will make the wind a whisper
And defeat each enemy.

There’s something about His Name
That demands priority.
He is…He was…He is to come
And He will always be!

There’s something about His Name
That is sharper than a knife.
Cuts the cords of death and doom…
  The dead return to life!

There’s something about His Name
That opens Heaven’s door…
 Extracts favor from the Father
And a Home forever more.

~~Dedicated to Rita~~

Phillipians 2:5 Let this mind be in you which
was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the
form of God, did not consider it robbery to
be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no
reputation, taking the form of a bondservant,
and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being
found in appearance as a man, He humbled
Himself and became obedient to the point of
death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore
God also has highly exalted Him and given Him
the name which is above every name, 10 that
at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and
of those under the earth, 11 and that every
tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

Rev. 1:8 - "I am the Alpha and the Omega,
the Beginning and the End," says the Lord,
"who is and who was and who is to come,
 the Almighty.".
