 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

poetryofadove
Give an ear O people,
Listen unto the Law;
You hide in the Gospel,
Forgetting your flaw.

I utter in the dark,
Sayings of long ago;
From whence that we embark,
Which we have heard and know.

As our fathers told,
Do not ever hide them;
If you become too bold,
The Lord just might condemn.

We must tell each child,
To keep passing it on;
Remaining meek and mild,
And newness of each dawn.

Such power and great deeds,
Of what the Lord has done;
Able to meet your needs,
All that is under the sun.

God told what had to be taught,
Generation to the next,
So when answers were sought,
They would not be perplexed.

But the Law has its root,
That God sends from above;
Pleasing with the best fruit,
That it all references love.
