by Stella Mitchell.

With arms outstretched towards the waiting sky - the
Beautiful Forsythia - majestically lifts her branches high -
Like golden beams of sunlight - reaching up - in rapturous
Bursts of glorious light - as if to take us from the gloomy days -
Now past - into the heavenly realms of Glory - of beautious
Chambers bright - with songs of love renewed - and
Grievous wrongs - put right .

These golden rays - once brown and drab - clothed in their winter's shroud -
Now sentinels of coming Spring - that make the dullest heart seem
Glad - and want to sing - as they herald in the warmer days - cocooned
In softest greens - with crocuses and daffodils - that shout  aloud
Of promises - of better days to come - of happiness - and
Joyous thrills.

Who is there - who could not be blessed - when kissed by
Spring's abundant grace - and loveliness ? - that
Touches all with gentle calm - and
Soothes the beating breast - with
Passion's balm  - and
Bids it - rest .

May this Spring be one of love and joy and hope
for all , and may the Lord give you His peace

In Jesus' name

amen .

God bless you all .
