 From the Heart Through the Pen

Could You Imagine

Slowing the world's tempo

In the moment we let all of its weight go

Our gazes lock

And gravity no longer has us under control

 

Could You Imagine

The most beautifullest creature in the universe

Multiply its beauty by infinity

And have her standing in front of me

At the altar in church

Moment perfected

After years of rehearse

 

Could You Imagine

I whisper her name 

Before the vows and I do

Yet the world wants to hear

Cause all they can make out is PLG

Your expression says wow

Cause the name I mentioned...it's you

 

Could You Imagine

The next steps we took

Who'd believe it was all foretold

Cheryl said I'd meet my destiny

Who Knew she meant literally 

You stand there still in shock

I stand still

Amazed at Your Beauty before me

 

Frozen goes the sands of time

Your lips reach again to meet mine

My arms...around your waist 

They gently squeeze

Sigh...moments like these we're in

Are why I enjoy being able to breathe

Where our journey takes us next

Could You Imagine
