JOY

There she runs, not a care in the world.
The joy this little girl expresses, repress’s
the painful fact of a deadly illness. Joys
strength in the face of severe adversity denies
the insolence of youth being ravaged by sickness.

Whimsical and infectious is her laughter and happiness.
Joy shouldn’t have to face the world of reality
at such a tender age. Joy, joy to the world is the
message expressed by this gracious child.
Would that we could sweep her up and cry, joy, joy
to you, you’re an inspirational  spirit to us all, whilst
weeping and wishing, that Joys running will never falter.

Joys playground is full of strong and beautiful children.
Everyone of them are an inspirational tribute to the staff and
all who visit the Royal Victoria Hospital for sick children.
Everyone shout hurrah to little Joy Quigley and all her friends.
Wish them well and think of them in your prayers today
