The Sea carries words on every wave
To the magnet of my soul

Longed-for sentences gather
And paragraphs wash ashore
Messages meant for me
Have reached their destiny

Moments and days waiting to be
Truth and lies, tearful goodbyes
Words just born and given breath
New and on the crest of death

Regretful words can't be thrown back
Have I finally learned that?
This is my story thus far

Galaxies see the story complete
And stars unfold their longing to speak

But Deep calleth unto Deep
And the Deep calleth to me
So I'll stay on the shore and wait
As the chronicle congregates Beyond the horizon far

A book to be born in time

A life to be written
Waitng in the harbors of the world

St. Cecilia, let it be
Guide the love and beauty to me
