Poetic-Verses

‘' Money Does Not Influence God ‘'

I'm an individual the same as you,
Equal only on the day we were born,
While you were one of the chosen few,
I have to toil to earn my corn.

What gives you the right to put me down?
To believe I should fall at your feet,
Remember our taxes paid for your crown,
It's us commoners who make you feel elite.

Who do you turn to when things go wrong?
As do all you multi millionaires,
The very people who ensure you stay strong,
That is truly a sad state of affairs.

Politicians dictating how we should live,
Rich kids from birth until death,
Your arrogance we will never forgive,
Like us all you will take that last breath.

Money does not make you better than me,
It gives you a better freedom of choice,
Obliged to others means you'll never be free,
At least I still have my own voice.

Without us none of you would ever thrive,
On the workers you're lifestyles depend,
Yet in times of austerity it's us you deprive,
Into chaos our lives then transcend.

The rich get richer while the poor pay the price,
We are continually being put to the sword,
I believe it's now time to fork out some advice,
Your attitude towards us is abhorred.

Starting wars in which innocents are killed,
Carrying out policies which are so unkind,
Going against everything the people have willed,
While robbing the taxpayers blind.

In reality you're all parasites if truth be told,
Enjoy watching your finances grow,
For there's someone your actions leave really cold,
So here's a secret you all need to know,

Equality at birth also applies when we die,
That's a concept you rich folk find odd,
Entry to Heaven to you will not apply,
Why,
