Never seems to just get old
Of shivered timbers and of colds
A state of health that fails this day
Another pill to pop away
Amazing how the body aches
Giving way to what's at stake
Two days, weekend, of just reprieve
As Virus screams go on and heave
Good weather calls come out and play
You see no rain just Sun today
But gears won't shift inside we stay
Stay the course, counting the days
Near fever pitch shy of the temps
That ridden me bedside inept
And so I write to rid myself
Of boredom born of nothing else
aaaaaaachooooooooooo
