Dear Lord - I feel like You have taken so many 
Loved ones away from me - as if  You want me just
For Yourself  - but Lord - I need the smile of someone 
Dear - to fill the empty place within my heart - and have them near - 
I do not mean to weep  -  but there are times - the tears begin to 
Cascade - like an overflow of raindrops  - down a glassy pane - but
Now - there is no rain - just emptiness - and quiet  sorrow's pain -
One day - I know that all the emptiness will be no more - when
I depart this world - and step through Heaven's open door - but 
Lord - until that day - whenever it will be - give me those - who
Will be glad - to share these lonely times with me -  Thank
You for all the dear hearts - who have come and gone - and 
Those who've moved away - or  - are at rest in Your Eternal 
Home - Where - I too one day will be at peace - and all
The longings of my heart  will cease -  Frail heart - be 
Sturdy now - and do not fret - as God - in His great mercy -
Will not forget - those who have put their trust in His 
Enduring love - He knows that we are dust - and yet 
He cares - for each - who - in His tender mercies trust -
Of this - to know true rest -
We must .

there are times when a moment of melocholy seems to 
flood my soul , and I find myself writing a sad poem for
all who have gone through a time of loneliness , due to
a bereavement or time of loss .In the midst of such times 
I turn to the Lord for solace and comfort , and He is 
always faithful for those who put their trust in Him .


God bless you with His love and peace 
today and always .
