Blade now sheathed, my time to rest
As peace turns war today to less
A breath to breathe of death in air
Death no man should live to bare
Camp fires burn to warm those spared
Wounds some great that bleed despair
As far as I can see this day
Less are more on field displayed
My heart sinking of those we lost
This Game of Thrones comes at great cost
Men lost their lives serving great cause
Today's battle brings no applause
The air now reeks of souls that died
Before their time, still heard are cries
That ring in ear as fallen tears
Become of valor in heart mine seared
Dwell not here long for time shall come
To bring this fight yet still not done
On ground where blood spills aftermath
Spills of loss by war outcast
Yet stand I do surveying death
No more this day as one last breath
Is drawn by one on field of red
Young boy near man this day to led
With sword he served
With Sword He Served
