A grain of wheat went into the ground today
He was my son, his name was Jer’ray
He died as a man but when put in the ground
The fruits of his life will be seen all around
A grain of wheat, I heard the Lord say
Is just a grain of wheat if allowed to stay
But if it fall into the earth and it dies
It will bear fruit that will save many lives
John chapter 12, in verse 24
Let us reap from the death of Jer’ray Moore
All those left here whose lives he touch
Please know that he loved you all very much
God grant us the grace to see thru the pain
Examine ourselves and honor his name
Not with drunkenness, not with drugs
Not by being criminals or thugs
Not vulgar language, or thoughts of revenge
These are the things he wanted to end
Just want more out of life
Seek God thru the stress, God thru the strive
When people see us let them all say
This person must have known Jer’ray
I for one am truly blessed you know
I will represent until my time to go
I pray for those he took his life, that’s what he would do
I forgive them their trespass, he would forgive them too
This is the example, this is what Jer’ray stood for
He would gladly give up his seed, to multiple it more
A grain of wheat went into the ground today
He was my son, his name was Jer’ray
