Numb
The day is dull. Gray.
It's cloudy outside.
I've lost the words to say.
Just gone numb inside.
My heart is dead. Hurt.
I don't have an answer.
Why didn't it work?
Plagued by this cancer.
You're so cold. Cruel.
No emotion anymore.
Contempt needs no fuel.
I let you shut the door.
I am calm. Sedate.
I feel myself dying.
You've lifted a weight.
But inside I'm crying.
