It reaches seventeen-hundred and seventy-six
Feet above the city of New York
With a spire that pierces the sky
It is a masterpiece of construction work
Twelve years since the Nine-Eleven tragedy
The tallest building in the Western Hemisphere
Proudly stands in defiance of everything this Nation
Represents and will not be intimidated by fear
A monument to the two-thousand seven-hundred and fifty
Sons, daughters, sisters, brothers, husbands and wives
People who worked in the Twin-Towers World Trade Center
From more than fifty countries who lost their lives
Along with all the brave soldiers who have died in battle
The family of humanity will keep them in their collective memory
As we pray that God will guide us from every disaster
Until all the people of the world learn to live in harmony.
