Candy is dandy
Liquor is quicker
Booze readily handy
While it makes you sicker
Than pot ever will
So take a chill pill
Legalize the stuff
Don't make it so rough
To indulge or cure pain
Add some calm to your brain
Liver failure is a bad way to die
Seen it many times have I
It's a puking brown stink
Body over the brink
Bloated with excess
Worst way to go from what I've assessed
So get off your high horse
Come down to the ground
Legalize green
Put the bottle down
Because I don't want you crying
When your liver is frying
In the booze pickling it
Fight for legalization
And further tax it
Because our country needs money
That won't come from the fine
Of a person in prison
Doing the time
All because his tobacco
Wasn't certified
Pot is the truth
While booze sits with lies
As it becomes addictive
Yellows whites of eyes
And you're sick as with cancer
Legalization's the answer.
